Do we need to be a Link Group administered fund to work with Link Advice?

The short answer is no.

  • For our telephone advice solution, we will work with you to find the most practical and secure way to share member data.
  • SBP is designed to call member data using an application programming interface (API). The API will connect data to SBP from otherwise separate applications regardless of who administers the fund.
  • Our licensing solution does not require the exchange of any member data. By taking advantage of our licencing options we provide you with the likes of templates, software, training and compliance; however the member data is entered by and held by your fund.

Yes, our solutions can be used individually, in conjunction with each other or all at the same time, depending on your business needs.

How do I know the data we provide is secure?

We take all reasonable and practicable steps to protect the personal information we hold against loss, unauthorised access, misuse, modification, disclosure or interference.

When we no longer need the personal information we hold about members, we will take all reasonable and practicable steps to de-identify or destroy the information in a secure manner. Alternatively, where that is not practicable, we will take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse or unauthorised disclosure by putting the information beyond reasonable use.

Do I get a dedicated account manager?

While Link Advice has a dedicated account management function, our clients have direct access to managers and staff within the business. This way you will still always be able to access the support you need.

What are the costs involved?

Costs vary depending on; what solutions you wish to use, volumes of advice and number of advisers applicable, whether API work is required, and in the case of our licensee solution, whether you are licenced as an authorised representative or corporate authorised representative.
